The world of craft beer is rooted in creativity, and one of the ways that small and independent brewers showcase that creativity is through the creation of seasonal beers. Seasonal beers are a unique, fun way to capture the essence of a particular season. We offer you a peek into new releases, and the return of some of your favorites, to help you stay on top of the world of seasonal beers.
Blackhorse Brewery IPA
STYLE: American India Pale Ale
Indulge in the immersive experience of this crisp, earthy, dry-hopped American style IPA. The gentle scent of citrus blended with hints of fresh pine & grapefruit reinvents a centuries-old brew masterfully balancing bold hops with rich malts. Blackhorse Brewery Vanilla Cream
STYLE: American Ale
This light-bodied ale is bright and refreshing with subtle vanilla notes, a delicate hop aroma, and a slightly sweet finish. Great on its own or put a new take on the classic black & tan when mixed with our Coalminer’s Stout or Coffee Milk Stout.
Catawba White Zombie
STYLE: Belgian Witbier
We named this beer as a Halloween seasonal brew, but its refreshing taste makes it a year round staple. Zombie is made according to the Belgian Witbier tradition of using unmalted wheat to create the light body and white sheen. Additions of coriander and orange peel give Zombie a fruity and spicy character, while the hops are subtle and lightly detected. Don’t be scared to blow the head off a Zombie and drink up!
Highland Oatmeal Porter
STYLE: Dark Roasty Smooth
A unique Highland creation, this robust beer is black in color, very malty with hints of chocolate-roasted flavor and a mild hop character without being heavy. Oscar’s malty favorite.
Dos Equis Amber
STYLE: Classic Vienna Lager
Full body and a smooth finish. With its signature amber color and subtle hints of roasted malts it pairs great with every kind of Mexican food, whether it’s 2pm tacos or 2am tacos. A distinctively rich amber color with subtle hints of caramel and burnt sugar. Full-bodied yet surprisingly smooth and easy to drink with a clean finish.
Bold Rock Pomegranate
STYLE: Hard Cider
Pomegranate Cider blends fruity aromatics, the subtle tanginess of pomegranate juice, and the perfectly crisp and refreshing taste of fresh Blue Ridge apples. The result is a delicious and flavorful seasonal hard cider perfect for fall enjoyment!
STYLE: Pilsner Lager
Well balanced flavor, with a smooth hop character and a crisp, refreshing finish. Modelo Especial is characterized by its aroma of orange blossom and a touch of grass. Modelo Especial products contain water, barley malt, unmalted cereals and hops.
Sam Adams Winter Lager
STYLE: SPICED WHEAT BOCK
Winter Lager's rich malt notes with a carol of cinnamon, ginger, and orange peel will send you straight to the holiday mindset. Full-bodied festive flavor and smooth as a sleigh ride, let Sam be your holiday party sidekick this season.
Sierra Nevada Pale Ale
STYLE: Pale Ale
It changed tastes, made hops famous, and brought an industry back from extinction. That’s a hard-working beer. Heavy on hops, that was always the brewery plan. So in 1980, we loaded Pale Ale up with Cascade—a new hop at the time named after the mountain range—and the intense aromas of pine and citrus sparked the American craft beer revolution. See what this original pale ale is all about.
Sweet Water 420 G13 IPA
his aromatic super-hybrid sticky IPA is first and foremost a phenomenally delicious and drinkable beer, with the added bonus of an olfactory experience that mimics that of the legendary G13 cannabis strain. The IPA base brew has a great body, good head and nice amount of haze at a pleasurable 6% ABV. To work with the malt bill, the brewers added some of their dankest hops, Columbus and Simcoe, plus two dry hop additions. To achieve the aroma, our brewers found the perfect botanically-sourced, strain specific terpenes and married them with proprietary natural hemp-type flavor, both perfectly complementing the hops in the IPA.
Sweet Water Hazy IPA
Seeing double? We’re doubling down on the SweetWater H.A.Z.Y with this hazy, juicy, double dry-hopped IIPA hitting high notes of mango, passionfruit, pineapple, and pine. A nice dose of wheat and oats keeps it smooth, and low bitterness makes it easy drinking even at the higher ABV.
Sweet Water Blue
STYLE: Wheat Ale
Blueberry on the nose, light bodied wheat ale on them taste buds. A unique light bodied wheat ale enhanced with a hint of fresh blueberries! The euphoric experience begins with an appealing blueberry aroma – take a good whiff and you’ll know. The taste is extremely subtle and finishes extra clean. This ain’t no fruit beer, but it is our breakfast beer, and so delicious with pancakes!
Tennessee Brew Works Hippies & Cowboys
STYLE: Indian Pale Ale
If you live in Tennessee you have plenty of friends that are hippies and cowboys: this IPA is an ode to them.
This tropical and citrus IPA provides luscious aromas that filter through to the palate. Light on the bittering, it ends with a smooth and crisp finish. It is a very versatile beer that can be enjoyed on the ranch after a hard day’s work or listening to live music at a gritty honky tonk.
Tennessee Brew Works State Park
STYLE: Blonde Ale
The official beer of the Tennessee State Parks. Portions of the proceeds go to the Tennessee State Parks Conservancy. Brewed with 100% Tennessee grains from Willis Farms, Hillsboro, TN (*). A light and crisp sessionable American blonde ale with honeysuckle aromas on the nose and a subtle biscuity finish.
Truly Wild Berry Seltzer
What is it about Wild Berry that drives people so, well, wild? Maybe it's all those beautiful berries reminding you to squeeze more juice out of life. Or maybe it's the alcohol. Hard to say for sure.
Wicked Weed Pernicious
Pernicious implies influence that is harmful in a way not easily noticed. This beer is harmful, not because of overwhelming hop bitterness, but because its balanced brightness insidiously ruins your expectations for all other IPAs. This hop delivery vehicle is crafted to enjoy fresh and often and because of its drinkability and clean finish you’ll never look at IPAs the same again. The harm is done.
YEE-HAW! Bring on the bottle brown, baby! If you dig the dark but skip the slog through heavy stouts, meet your new beer-friend. If chocolate and beer had a baby, they’d name it Dunkel. Rich, deep and complex, our Dunkel is many things, but heavy isn’t one of them. This Award-Winning, classic German style lager is the beer that started it all for our brewery. Take the time to savor it slowly and you’ll find flavors of biscuits, cocoa and caramel. Don’t be afraid of the dark.
Wiseacre Gotta Get Up to Get Down
STYLE: Coffee Milk Stout
Magical natural process beans from the Konga region of Ethiopia lead the way in this beautiful coffee stout. This rare variety of coffee leads to aromas of sweet roastiness and flavors of blueberry pie. Lactose, or milk sugar, is added along with oats for a silky medium body and a lush finish. Red Bull and vodka done the long way for old men, not teenagers.
STYLE: American-style dark lager
Our favorite Texas Holiday tradition is back for another year! Be sure to share the gift of beer brewed with local peaches and pecans with friends, family, and yourself too! Pick one up before the elves drink them all!
